photography as art
Personally, photography is viewed as art, as a method to express beauty within a perception of the world. My concept of photography developed with the intention to explore the beauty within an isolated country landscape, in order to demonstrate that there is an attraction within an empty space, or what may not be so empty. My first series, ‘Windmill Lane’, completed as a HSC major ‘Body of Work’ addresses the exploration of beauty within an isolated country landscape, exemplified on my family property in Bomen, Wagga Wagga. Through colour, pattern and texture comes emotion, and that is how I intend to capture the audience, through the emotional connection to the land and the truth told from the seen landscape.

Skyscapes are a connecting factor to different places across the world. The connection to other places stems from the similarity that no matter in which part of the world you may be, the sky is visible, how vivid or how bland, it is there.
